About this property
The Orca on Savary Island Tent 3
Adults-only campground in Savary Island
We have 3 5meter bell tents with double beds in them. Facilities include an outdoor kitchen, shower with hot water on demand (we are still awaiting our water hook up..hopefully by July 31) but have outdoor camping showers available. For use... just hang in a tree!) and a outhouse. The property is 50' by 380' which gives lots of room to relax. You can sit up overlooking the water to watch the birds, ships and even whales go by. Take a bike ride or go down to the beach. We are currently waiting for our lodge to arrive, either late spring or early fall. Until then our glamping tents will keep you comfortable and dry while you explore Savary Island.
Guest accommodations at this campground offer hair dryers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer stovetops, cookware/dishes/utensils, and coffee/tea makers.

The property has a great view and the tents are cozy. Lois and her family made us feel welcome and were great hosts. The amenities were very basic when we were there (outhouse only, no power or running water, shared basic kitchen stuff) though I know the property is changing and upgrading by the week. We felt a bit uncomfortable sharing spaces during Covid without too many precautions but lesson learned.
