It’s tucked away enough that it’s great for a romantic getaway, and close enough that you can venture down to Lynton & Lynmouth for an explore. We had some trouble booking on a different website (booking . com) but the hosts were so quick to respond and so friendly that we were completely sold on booking the property. The inside is clean, and very thoughtfully done up, and the hosts had left some lovely touches for us. We ended up visiting... Some might say it's a bit outdated, but that's definitely part of its charm. We had a huge room that was very clean and comfortable. The lady on reception was fantastic and helped me up with our luggage while my partner parked the car. There is pre bookable parking at the rear for only £6 a day, and you can park out front to sort out your luggage. The views are spectacular, and the room was lovely and quiet. There's no food available but plenty of places to eat in or take out close by. Reception staff were fantastic and so happy to help. They made us feel like royalty from the moment we booked the hotel. There is a lift if you need it. We plan to stay again as it was perfect and so special.
