Top San Francisco Hotel Reviews

Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf

10/10 Excellent

"It was the perfect stay for my son's birthday trip. It was the perfect location, rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again on future trips to San Francisco."

Bay Landing San Francisco Airport Hotel

8/10 Good

"The staff, room, and view were all excellent! One star deduction because of a shuttle no-show, and calls to the hotel were all routed though a stupid AI ‘helper’ that didn’t know when the last pickup at the airport should be and we missed it, then waited a half hour for it to show up. Last pickup is at 10:30, even though the shuttle “runs” until 11 pm. Frustrating!"

Holiday Inn Golden Gateway by IHG

8/10 Good

"Thank you , Holiday Inn San Francisco!! The view from my room was BREATH TAKING ! The Hotel was clean ! Staff were all polite and extremely helpful ! And I loved all of the amenities like the pool and the gym ! I truly enjoyed all of the surrounding restaurants and nightlife just outside of the hotel ! Definitely going to book again !"

Hilton San Francisco Union Square

8/10 Good

"A Comfortable and Spacious Room, but Some Maintenance Issues ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Hilton San Francisco Union Square for the final night of our San Francisco vacation. Despite the hotel’s impressive size and the long check-in line, the process was surprisingly efficient and well organized. Our room was spacious, clean overall, and well equipped. The heating worked perfectly, and the in-room coffee-making facilities were a welcome convenience. We particularly appreciated the exceptionally comfortable lounge chair, which provided a wonderful place to relax after a long day exploring San Francisco. However, there were some disappointing details that deserve attention. The mattress was excessively soft and appeared worn out. More concerningly, both the bedsheets and duvet covers showed considerable signs of wear, including visible holes and deteriorating fabric. These are basic comfort and quality issues that should not be overlooked at a hotel of Hilton’s reputation. Another noticeable drawback was the condition of the windows. They were extremely dirty, which significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the room and its view. Despite these shortcomings, we appreciated the spacious accommodation, comfortable lounge chair, effective heating, and convenient amenities. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but better maintenance, replacement of worn bedding, and more thorough window cleaning would make a significant difference. Four stars for a generally comfortable experience"
