« C’est étonnant et reposant. Par contre l’arrivée en taxi peu surprendre car on se croirait dans l’Afrique profonde, c’est un chemin, c’est sale et plutôt en ruine. Je recommande d’arriver plutôt en bateau si peu de bagages. Le personnel est accueillant et on y mange très bien pour un prix très raisonnable. Je recommande. »

« We had such a wonderful time at Hadouta Masreya hotel! First the place is beautiful, decorated in Nubian style with taste, rooms are big and confortable with all commodities and with an amazing Nile view. The food is so great that we took most of our meals at the hotel, you should not miss it. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, with very friendly local people all around. « Un hôtel en plein cœur du souk mais bizarrement c'est très calme passé 23h. Grosse difficultés à trouver un endroit de restauration pour un estomac européen. On a fini par se faire une pizza. Rien à dire sur le personnel qui est adorable, rien non plus sur l'aspect extérieur et sur le lobby. Par contre, les chambres sont vraiment miteuses. »

"Wow…!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic, and a must!!! We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure). Check-in was great, efficient, courteous and welcoming. The beautiful room was ‘refreshed’ literally as we walked in - it was super clean already. Plenty of excursions are on offer, so though we used the hotel as a transit for one night, I will consider it as a destination in itself next time. Finally, the restaurant. Another WOW!!! We stayed in for dinner as we arrived late and had an early start. The view of the Nile and over the boat ‘harbour’ ferrying groups coming to visit the village was vibrant and fun. And the food…superb! Though we ate well our whole time in Egypt, this proved to be our best meal (you don’t have to stay to eat there by the way, so stop by!!). Cooked from fresh and sooo tasty!! They arranged an airport transfer for the morning which was no hassle, providing a packed breakfast. All in all, a true gem in location, comfort, service, good, basically everything. I’d strongly suggest adding it to your itinerary if you’re in Aswan, I wish we could have stayed longer."

"Vue incroyable, personnel adorable à nos petits soins (ils ont ramené un gâteau surprise pour l'anniversaire de mon fils), chambre spacieuse et très propre, literie de bonne qualité, salle de bain toute neuve, fruits et pâtisseries nous attendaient dans les chambres, coin piscine très agréable et propre, on en a bien profité aussi... bref, on n'y est resté que 2 nuits mais on y serait bien resté plus longtemps !
