"This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Smelled bad when you walked in. I can handle that, room was clearly not cleaned properly, blood on the sheets, ripped carpets, ripped chairs, cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, had to move rooms 3 times until I found one that didn’t have bugs. Last one smelled so bad it made your eyes water, 0/10 avoid at all costs. Sinks didn’t drain, towels all stained, toilet paper had bugs or stains on them. One of the rooms literally had the last guests stuff on the ground (pictured)"

"I’ve stayed here in the past and was always happy to return. However this time it wasn’t as pleasant. The tub had hair in it and by the time they could remedy it, we cleared it out ourselves. There were other issues, but we didn’t bother complaining about it. Years past, I remember there was a desk in the room so I could work, not this time. Even though there is a business room, I do a lot of video calls for work, not to mention the multiple monitors need to present - it wouldn’t be fair to another patron using the same area. They did mention in a letter received at check in that they were renovating, so I hope it will get back to the reason I always enjoyed staying there in the place."

"Signs all over the place saying kids eat for free all day. When we went to eat dinner, the waiter said they don’t do that here and had us pay for an adult meal because they also didn’t have kids meals. Pictures of a nice washer and dryer room on website. When we arrived there was only one of each and they were old and wouldn’t accept cards, only cash and they don’t have an atm on site. "

"AC did not work in the room, and maintenance was unable to resolve the issue. Several items in the room were broken, including the ironing board, a wall mirror that was hanging loose and partially off the wall, and the closet hanging rack, which had been ripped out of the wall, making it impossible to hang clothes. We booked this room while attending LSU graduation and expected a much better experience. To say we were unsatisfied would be an understatement. I would not recommend this location and would not stay here again."

"This is a nice little getaway place. The hotel and casino are very clean, and the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The casino staff wasn't very friendly; a little surprising since they want you to spend your money. The smoking area was kept clean and well ventilated. I was a little disappointed that there were not more food options, as there is not much close by. Overall, a good time was had, and we will be coming back. "
