We visited over spring break with our two elementary school aged children to explore the capital and learn about CA history. The location of this property was perfect: just far enough from the city center to be quiet and peaceful but close enough that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. (Bonus: we did not have to deal with parking downtown!)The property was very clean and the hot tub was great to come back to after walking around all day. We made good use of the kitchen and had all of our meals there as we were traveling on a budget. Managers were very communicative and responded very quickly with answers to questions/needs. We stayed 5 nights and it did start to feel a little small for our family of 4 by the end of the week, but for a shorter visit, it's perfect! Also, the kitchen definitely has all of the basics and met all of our needs. However, it is very small with limited counter space and room for storing kitchen tools/pantry items. If you are planning to make all of your meals like we did, I recommend cooking ahead of time so all you have to do is reheat.
