A superb hotel for the perfect summer holiday
Everyone from pool boys to waiters to hotel manager were so courteous, and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
It was such a relaxing time in a truly fabulous place.
As a result we have booked for next year, something I have NEVER done before.
The hotel facilities are incredible with a gorgeous pool area with lots of shade and the beach area is new and so peaceful however a pebble beach.
The hotel itself has a great breakfast selection and really modern reception area. However rooms could do with an update and the air con needs sorting as it would not go cooler than 23degrees.
Definitely worth paying for a garden view or requesting a room on the top floor so the view from back of hotel is nice and not obstructed.

This hotel was a 10 minute walk from the old town. There was a swimming beach about 400 metres in the opposite direction. The hotel also has its own pool. There are multiple places to eat close to the Hotel if you choose. The Hotel offeres a buffet diner.
The room we were provided was a family room with an extra bed ,this was most welcome as the room would have been on the small size otherwise,
The view from the room was one of the best I have ever seen and we were able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the old town.
Stay here for the view you won't regret it!

Very helpful reception staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Lots to do with children. Having a car for a couple of days would be useful, if you want to explore more, otherwise difficult to get from town to town. Rovinj is stunning. Boat to island very reliable and scenery around hotel Istra beautiful. Food cooked fresh.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is really lovely -- even prettier and more charming than the photographs. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful. And, the hotel is in a perfect location, situated partway up a windy Rovinj road. This was my favorite hotel from our entire two weeks in Croatia.

Super reception upon arrival. Best location if you are looking for simple pension style room. Lacking shampoo, no control for air conditioner which meant window had to be open, but then bar patrons noise went on until 5 AM, and only one coffee pouch for two guests. I think it is just lack of attention to detail.
Absolutely charming and wonderful experience. Staff was super helpful, informative and efficient. Breakfast included was very good. This hotel is in such a great location close to everything. Room was small but adequate for the two of us. A/C worked great and shower was powerful. Serenaded to sleep in the evening with classical guitar music wafting up from the street.

Often considered Istria’s prettiest town, Rovinj was originally an island, which was fortified and joined to the mainland in the Middle Ages. Pastel-coloured Venetian-style buildings line the fishing harbour, overlooked by the hilltop Church of St Euphemia. Chic waterside bars serve cocktails while eateries dish up seafood and the region’s delicacy, truffles. South along the coast, Zlatni Rat offers pinewoods and secluded coves for bathing.
