Excellent place for a night’s stay prior to a cruise out of Rotterdam. The room is basic but well kept; and the staff was super friendly. Easy to get to from Rotterdam Central Station, and easy access to the Metro to get to the cruise pier. Exactly what we were looking for.

Poor internet speed, unpleasant odor in the fridge, and the room has an outdated feel, so don't anticipate modern amenities. The room was passable, although the TV is quite old. However, the location is right in the heart of things.

Our stay was marvelous! In spite of the rainy weather we were able to enjoy our trips to Amsterdam, Kinderjik and around Rotterdam. I want to mention the honesty of the evening staff in the Reception when he returned the €50 extra I overpaid. Thanks very much Mr. Bovu.We loved everything about the hotel!

This small hotel is in a quiet side street near a busy area of the city, not too far from the central station and within walking distance of many tourist sights. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and my room was pleasant and nicely maintained. There was a bit of noise at night (mechanical I thought) and as in most Dutch hotels there was no kettle in the room. However hot drinks can be bought at reception.

I extended my stay at this hotel due to a sporting competition & I wasn't disappointed. I recommend the breakfast buffet which is excellent with great choices. Staff so helpful. This is traditional Dutch Hospitality in the heart of the city.

Great hotel, came to visit an ill friend and had to extend twice, which they kindly catered for. I've also already booked here for my next visit and haven't even left yet. I really recommend. My only let down was the cost of a can of coke @ €2.75 for 300ml, same price as a bottle of water.

Hotels has private individual garages. Hotels is very old and wooden inside. Walls and doors are not soundproof and you hear all noises from the hall and other rooms. Pillows were not fresh. Room was very small and in bathroom was cold. Breakfast was good but they do not let you to take nothing from there (neither an apple or something light)

Simple and effective
Quite an old hotel in terms of the style, but sufficient for what I needed. Room was quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV did not seem to work but the WiFi was very good and quick. Breakfast was not bad with a good range of items.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel in a quiet area. Great location between the central train station & the town centre. Decor a bit dated in some areas, but not awful, is very clean. All staff I met were very friendly & always said hello. Breakfast was good & was lovely to have a bar on site. I would stay here again.

Extremely friendly staff
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Love the idea that reception is manned (womanned) 24 hrs and you hand your key in. Added bonus was the lift, always handy when lugging heavy packs. Position was perfect, quiet but close to cafes, shops and easy walking distance to central sights and train stations. And the tram stops nearby also!

Nice, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay
Hotel Breitner was conveniently located to the center of Rotterdam. You’re only a couple blocks from Market Hall, shopping stores, grocery store, and to the Swan Bridge. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. They even told us about the local farmers market that’s held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

It was great. I only stayed one night but I made use of a lot of their services. The room was clean, big, temperature was very controllable, fast internet. Since I had more work to do I hung around the bar/lobby which is also cozy. Staff was eager to help. Would come back for sure

Nice place to discover Rotterdam City Center.
Nice place to discover Rotterdam, right in the center. Small scale hotel, human approach, cosy, great breakfast. Solo room a bit small, but comfortable and clean. Good value for money.

Hotel Brietner is perfectly located in a pretty, quiet, residential street 5 minutes pleasant walk from Museum Island, 10 from the buzzy Wit de Withstraat and 15-20 from the Markthal. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking behind the hotel (extra, but reasonably priced). The rooms are a bit basic and could do with some updating, as could the decor in general, but it has everything you need for a short stay.

We were warmly welcomed and the room very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. We would stay again for sure! Super convenient location, easily walkable from the train station, close to the Waterbus and local attractions. We had a family room with a double and two single beds, lots of room for our family of 4.

Basic facilities but really lovely staff
Visited with our dog and the staff were ever so friendly, helpful and lovely with us and our dog. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean. We were only staying one night and needed somewhere quiet, affordable and walkable from Rotterdam station.
