"We enjoyed our stay very much; the home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to the market, shops and parks and we were able to walk our dogs to the marina and back in a short time. The home was very clean and the kitchen completely equipped for us to prepare and eat meals when we wanted. It was less than a ten-minute drive to Sailor’s Encampment, where we were able to watch freighters - close up, that were going up the river to the locks. We learned from a friendly local that once a freighter passes by at Sailor’s Encampment, you can quickly drive up A Line and Hume’s Standard roads to Stribling Point Park, and watch it again.Out host was friendly, polite and quick to respond to all our questions. We always enjoy exploring St. Joseph Island and look forward to our next visit."

"We arrived at the cottage in the afternoon, we were greeted by the hosts, given a walk through and were fishing with in an hour of our arrival. Gord and Lori Ann were extremely helpful and great to deal with. We even got a few fishing tips, to help get us started. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We are already planning our next trip up! Such a beautiful area.. "

"Good location and clean. Can hear the people upstairs talking and walking around. Can hear people entering the hallway to go to the other basement apartment. Definitely needs better sound insulation "
