Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in Richards Landing, this home offers a quiet and unique space guaranteed to provide all you need for a relaxing escape. Lots to see and do on the Island including visiting historical sites and music festivals, watching the boats at the marina or touring the Island by bike, St. Joes Island truly offers something for everyone. The space has been completely renovated. It has two bedrooms, full bathroom, living room, full kitchen and cedar loft on the upper level. It is surrounded by one acre treed with room to get out and enjoy marshmallows by the outdoor fire. Every window offers a picturesque view where deer often come to visit. Just a quarter mile away from downtown Richard's Landing with a grocery store, restaurant on the water, and ice cream stop. The house was enough space for us; no frills but had basics provided (coffee pot, some cooking equipment, etc.). Thank goodness for some air conditioning! Wifi worked but very slow speed, especially with the smart tv. The upstairs loft is beautiful and very northern. Part of the outside of the house is under construction, which we wish we would have been given a heads up on since we were confused when we pulled up at first. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Michael W. 2 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Richards Landing-St Joseph Island We enjoyed our stay very much; the home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to the market, shops and parks and we were able to walk our dogs to the marina and back in a short time. The home was very clean and the kitchen completely equipped for us to prepare and eat meals when we wanted. It was less than a ten-minute drive to Sailor’s Encampment, where we were able to watch freighters - close up, that were going up the river to the locks. We learned from a friendly local that once a freighter passes by at Sailor’s Encampment, you can quickly drive up A Line and Hume’s Standard roads to Stribling Point Park, and watch it again.Out host was friendly, polite and quick to respond to all our questions. We always enjoy exploring St. Joseph Island and look forward to our next visit. ##### Michael W.
