Checked in, booked online through Expedia. Searched long and wide for a hotel with balconies as it’s super important to my partner and I when we stay somewhere. I check in and confirm we have a balcony which I was told we don’t. I said I booked on Expedia and the add said the room had a balcony. The person at the front desk said, oh I hate when they write that because we don’t have balconies! I was like pardon, you know it says that and you haven’t changed it? You can’t advertise that if you don’t have them to offer people. I then requested perhaps they could give me a grown level room of someone who hasn’t checked in yet, which they told me was impossible.
Then at 11:30 pm, a bunch of drunk guys under me thought it was an awesome idea to ride the loudest dune buggy idle outside our room, that woke us up. The staff went outside and told them to stop eventually, but it said quiet time after 11 was strictly inforced, which it wasn’t and they woke me up again at 4:30 while they all drunkenly smoked cigarettes under my room until I went outside myself and asked them to be quiet or take it inside as there voices were carrying.
