This was a lovely find on a Lake Simcoe canal system. The staff was lovely and knowledgeable. Our room was renovated 70's retro, and very clean, with lots of room for sitting, lots of drawers, large closet and basic hotel kitchen amenities. The bathroom was nice and clean. It is an eco-friendly location, and we enjoyed staying there very much! Thank you

We always stay at Lagoon City when ice fishing. The food is great, staff is so helpful. Our room was nice and there were extra blankets. Our kid slept on the sofa bed which was ready and comfy. We’ll be back next year! Oh and maybe for perch in the spring too. :)

There isn’t much in the area for a budget friendly place to stay during the winter months but the room wasn’t clean when we checked in and staff was limited so we weren’t able to contact anyone on site by the time we checked in after 8pm. Additionally there was no information left for wifi or anything else. It was and okay place just for sleeping but for a one night stay I wouldn’t say it was worth the money other than in comparison to other pricer options in the area.

This location is beautiful and the lagoon with its canals is a hidden gem in cottage country. I am sure it is far more picturesque in the summer. With beach access and water sport activities. The workers at the reception were very helpful and friendly. The room was quite dated and was very cold. The hallway is not heated and the unused rooms are left ajar with the heat off. It took one day to get the room up to a comfortable temperature. The room could also use some vacuuming and cleaning, as well as updates. The refrigerator did not work and had to be replaced. The room was spacious and the views were excellent. The pool is under construction which was disappointing.

The property is very run-down, which is very deceiving from the pictures online. I can except an older place but I still expect it to be clean. The room was filthy and smelled disgusting. Got a new room wasn't much better noticeably cleaner but room had no heat. No staff at counter. Worst stay I've had anywhere, will never be back.

Hi the staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. I noticed the carpets were a bit dirty in common areas and maybe a bit of mold in shower. I noticed the refrigerator was not cold. The room was a bit cool with the heat up full blast. Comfortable bed and excellent shower pressure. This was our second staff there. I really liked the upper floor bedroom better as well.
