"My husband and I stayed in the standard king in the basement. It was plenty big enough, the bed was comfy, the water pressure was excellent, the shower tiles were beautiful, and it was tastefully decorated. The gentleman that checked us in was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants. He even called to make our reservation for us. I can’t remember his name but he said he was originally from NYC. The hotel is only a block from the ferry terminal, a half block to the whaling museum and 2 bike rental places, and surrounded by restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Staff was always attentive and helpful with any need. The outdoor bar with heaters was great. A perfect spot to go each day after another fun day of shopping. The complimentary continental breakfast was so good. Even the midday snack was a treat. I would highly recommend JCH to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful time at The Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin. The cottage was beautiful! Very comfortable, clean, and right on the water. We were in a two-bedroom cottage called Lower Mermansion. If/when I return to Nantucket, I’ll want to stay here again! I also have to mention the staff. Such very nice people who made us feel welcome and at home."

"This spot is a little gem. Be forwarned 'walking distance' to town is uphill (from the ferry) and rattling wheeled cases over 5 inch cobblestones and bricks. One there, everything is close and walkable. Its a lovely, charming inn with fresh cookies and croissants baked on site i loved it- it's my new go to Nantucket stay."
