"A very comfortable stay at a 'classic' single storey motel where you park directly outside the door to your room. The room provided everything we needed: two comfortable beds, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. En suite shower over a bath. Quiet - got a good night's sleep. A short drive of about 5 minutes to Annapolis Royal for an evening meal. Basic but perfectly adequate breakfast including a waffle maker, toaster for bread or bagels, cereal and yoghurt or milk, cheese, jams, butter, fresh fruit and muffins . Tea, coffee and fruit juice available. Friendly and helpful staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"This is a lovely old house, thoughtully managed by relatively new owners. They care about the details of comfort, beauty and cuisine. The dinner was flavourful, perfectly cooked, with unique touches. The bed was very comfortable, and the top floor area had a little sitting room for midnight reading, and tea! Highly recommended."

"We like all for the outside front and backyard. Make sure to make reservations for the restaurant Church Hill’s. Save room for the dessert. Digby was beautiful and don’t forget to check out Bear River. Myrtle & Rosie’s carrot cake. Cool galleries and gift shops. All within a short drive to the St. John New Brunswick ferry…"
