« More than expected. The cabin was huge. The property was quiet-ish. That’s not the fault of the owner. Just rude neighbor. Close to the airport and within 10-20 min of pretty much everything we came to do. I would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be extra blanket in the cabin. If I was staying longer or if the temps were lower I would have asked, the owner was very friendly and I’m sure he would have obliged, I just didn’t ask. « Undergoing some updating which is needed. Breakfast was subpar, but mainly because there were so few guest due to renovations happening. Had there been more guest staying there They would’ve had better service, attendance and quality of food. But that all being said, I would stay there again with no problem. »

« The property is about 8 miles outside the city. Very quiet, beautiful lodge. Wonderful hot breakfast served each morning. Host couple very knowledgeable and gave us numerous ideas of places to go. »

« Laura and Martin have a wonderful get-away. Breakfast, coffee, water and snacks await you upon arrival. The house is clean and the decor provides real Alaskan vibe. I stayed mid-July and the deck and flowers were peaceful and inviting. As hosts,, they are friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to their lovely Gilmore house. »

« We had a long stay in North Pole to visit my mother with my husband and me and our 5 children and everything with this home was wonderful. We had one slight hiccup regarding the locks on the door and immediately the owners fixed the issue and our vacation continued. Super quiet area. Overall couldn't ask for anything more. »

« All the amenities you could think of. We were worried when we first got to the apartment, the neighborhood seemed a little run down, but everything was fine. We stayed 10 days and were totally comfortable. Thanks for having a great place »
