"Look up this location before booking. Neighbor is as bad as it can get. In the description it states mixed neighborhood. I walked in and 10 minutes later walked out. Had booked the place for 2 weeks and only stayed 10 minutes. Smelled like urine, and all the stains in the living room couch was awful to look at. "I've stayed at Pod 51 several times and appreciate the fact that it provides exactly what I need—an affordable clean room and a comfortable bed to lay down on the few hours that I am in the room. I am usually in NYC for work, and am spending long hours at the office or catching up with colleagues over dinner. I do prefer one of the inner rooms (tends to be a little quieter), over street side, but its NYC. And thank you to the staff for making check-in and -out a friendly experience."
