Our room at the ROW Hotel was clean and the towels and bedding were excellent.
The hotel was under construction, so there was construction noise during the day.
Our room was initially very cold regardless of how we set the thermostat. We discovered that both a heating and cooling unit were running simultaneously. After turning off the cooling unit, we were able to make the room comfortable.
There was a closet in our room, but there were no hangers to hang clothing.
On the first night of our stay, our room did not have a trash can. One showed up on our second day.
We were unable to get our TV to operate in our room. I called the front desk and was told that instructions were in the room and we could follow the QR code to get the TV operational. We tried doing this but still had no luck. There was an interactive online chat that we used to try to get help, but the promised help never arrived.
The hotel offered an ice machine, but our room had no container for ice or glasses to use.
On our second night stay, we ran out of hot water after one of us showered.
Although we paid for our room when booking on Expedia, we were charged an extra ‘resort fee’ of $91.80.
Overall our stay was comfortable and convenient, but we will most likely try a different hotel on our next visit to NYC.
