« Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Marcy was an amazing host and made everything so easy. She was responsive, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The location couldn’t have been better. The beach was just a short walk away, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. Having an onsite restaurant was such a huge bonus and made meals convenient with kids. We also spent a lot of time at the pool, and renting a...

« The 2 bedroom condo was neat, tidy, and clean. All mentioned items were on counter when entered (paper towels, garbage bags, etc). Parking was easy. I wasn't sure about a unit in the back but found it easy to access and secluded and quiet. Road noise is minimal and do not hear once in condo. Walk to beach is 2 blocks. The path is not well marked but is clear. Beach items are kept in outdoor shower. This was displeasing because items are rusty and full of tree debris. I did take one chair to use...

« My daughter rented a house on Plover Street a year ago and asked her friends this Feb if they minded if she got married while they were at the beach. She asked if I could please, please come and lo and behold, I was able to get this gem oceanfront condo on the same street! The hosts could not have been more accommodating when it came to the hectic few months ahead of me. They answered so many questions and bent over backwards to help me make her beach Wedding perfect. The condo was a perfect...

« Black moldy shower curtain, thick untouched dust in vents, rusty old window AC’s not installed properly, could not locate or open the tryndle bed in loft, bare minimum start up supplies, broken deck chair, cheap poor quality towels, 55 steps up to 3rd floor is a killer which is no where mentioned in the ad! Property upkeep was horrible with exposed wire boxes, wet smelly bathmat on floor in downstairs bathroom. - Not worth the money! »

« We had a great first visit to OBX and saying at Barrier Island resort. The condo isn’t anything fancy but we didn’t spend much time there since the pool is right below and the beach just a few min walk away. We had a blast in the waves and hunting ghost crabs at night. Duck was nice and we had good restaurant experiences. The host was super responsive and we lucked out getting a little early check in! We will be back! »

« Arrived to a dirty property, filthy floors and counters, AC vents are clogged with old dust, black mold inside upstairs bedroom AC vent. Sandy bathtub. Community entrance code did not work. Had to be contacting host so the place would be cleaned and dealing with having cleaning person come in instead of having a peaceful time. The nightly price of 700-800 is absolutely not worth it. Was not worth mentioning mold to a cleaning person since it requires a specialized cleaning/removal process. Did...
