"Pros: Loved the location and parking close to front door. Great view of river from the second story. Cons: The sheets were not changed from the previous users. There were long black hairs all over the inside sheets. The downstairs pullout is almost impossible to walk around while the one upstairs you cannot walk around at all you have to climb over it to get out of the second bedroom. Kitchen lacked basic provisions for cleaning. "

The Nautical Beachfront Resort

"We’ve been coming to the Nautical for over ten years and this last trip was very disappointing. The “beach” side of the resort is completely taken over by the inflatable water obstacles. Like the whole beach is a water park, which is not operated by the resort. It used to be much smaller (so it didn’t interfere with the beach), and each resort guest got one hour per day of your stay for free, but it’s no longer included in your resort fees. Such a disappointing waste of a beautiful beach that had views of the lake. Now the view is huge white blow ups. So the only area to float in is shared with all the boats. And if the boats rent the space, then it’s very limited. The pool is always fun, but it’s open to the public, free of charge, as long as they are 21. Hmmm? Our resort fees were $39 a day, but the pool is free to the public? The Turtle Bar didn’t open due to wind (actually overheard staff complaining it would be dead because of the wind) but we were told we were welcome to sit there and order take out from the restaurant, but no servers. If it was because of the wind, then why were we allowed to eat there? It wasn’t that windy. Our phone didn’t work, toilet kept clogging, and the water was shut off due to a main water leak. Each time I expressed disappointment, I got a blank stare. We got one night refunded because the water was cut off, but still charged all the resort fees. The resort guests are not a priority, felt more like an inconvenience. Definitely a locals spot."

"Upon arrival, the room was clean, but housekeeping never came during our 4-day/3-night stay. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for the entire stay, despite our booking being for four people, and we had to search for another because they were out — including in the shared lobby bathrooms. "A surprising stay at a near the water and near town hotel. Staff was excellent feom checkin to checkout. Decor basic but in good shape and attractive. A/C worked well—a big plus Im Lake Havasu. The bed was too hard for me causing some shoulder and hip discomfort, but u did sleep fairly well. So overall our stay was very enjoyable."
