"Lesley and Kevin are kind and engaging hosts. The house is spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped with lots of interesting decor and stories. It has been lovingly maintained and the room and bathroom were spotless. They have lots of thoughtful amenities. Breakfast was delicious and they were willing to accommodate my early start to the day. The location is fantastic and very walkable to down town Annapolis Royal and many sites."

"For an older property it has been very well maintained. Bed, linens, towels,internet, bathroom, amenities all top quality. Being an older property the room with a king bed was fairly tight. Bathroom rather tiny also. The smaller room size characteristic of older motels/hotels I have found is now becoming vogue again in new properties. Sign of the times, less room equals more rooms. Unfortunately not of the owners making I along with the owners had a bad night's rest. The adjacent room had an awful unruly guest."

"The Blue Heron cottage was one of the best stocked little cottages I've ever stayed at, incredibly well appointed with dishes, towels, extra blankets ect. I'm always disappointed by the lack of tools to cook in a place but not here! Plus a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A perfect little getaway for my partner and I. Thank you so much for a great trip!"

"I had the wonderful experience of spending 5 weeks, during the fall season, at this delightful cottage. It is absolute paradise. Pictures of the setting cannot do it justice. The deep tide flows are stunning. And looking out onto the Bay of Fundy is magical. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed the privacy of the location. Easy distances to nearby towns and the proprietors could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Perfection."
