"I have stayed here many times over the past 25 years but this will be the last. I should have listened to recent reviews. We paid $400 a night for a room on the second floor with a broken elevator. The shower door continued to fall off so they came in and took it down and rehung it but did not clean up after themselves so I had to clean the floor. There was mold in the shower. The room was EXTREMELY outdated. I don't mind paying for a room but you need to put the money back into the property. The pool is beautiful but it is open to the public. People came in on bikes so we couldn't always get chairs. I have never been to a resort where the pools are open to the public. This is done so they can sell $14 drinks to people off the street. The staff at the Tiki Bar and pool bar were great but the office staff were rude and made you feel like you were bothering them. It would have been $100 more a night to stay at Margaretville and I am sorry I didn't spend the extra money. For the difference it is a no brainer in the future. Believe the other reviews. If you can book it for under $200 it is probably worth it for the location but nothing else."

"For the price, this Hyatt does not deliver. Ice machines inoperative, room refrigerator leaked. Musty smell in room. Suite rooms very small. No in house restaurant. Staff were great, but overall, a very poor delivery for the price. We chose this Hyatt because it was more expensive than other local area hotels and assumed it would deliver based on the brand and price. It failed to deliver. Felt like the exact same delivery we could have gotten for $100 less a night."
