With a bakery, supermarket, cafe's, restaurants and shops within a few minutes, there is hardly a need for a car but off-street parking for 1 car is available if required. My wife and I are in our 80's, and walked to the ferry to Russell, shuttle to Waitangi and the Inter-City bus to Auckland.Our host made sure we were comfortable and safe during Cyclone Tim. We ate excellent, interesting food at 4 of the many restaurants on the wharf, main street and one on Williams Rd... a short distance from the studio. Many neat little shops are stuffed between sandwich shops on the main st and adjacent alleys.Full of friendly and knowledgeable staff...one store was able to provide me with the artists contact info for a print I purchased.
