Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). »

My wife and I are in our 80's, and walked to the ferry to Russell, shuttle to Waitangi and the Inter-City bus to Auckland.Our host made sure we were comfortable and safe during Cyclone Tim. « Wow! What a view from the balcony! It was amazing to arrive in time to see the sun going down over the water. We were met by Jane who showed us around the property, recommended some trips for our short stay, places to eat and walks - all were excellent suggestions.
