The three-car garage provides ample space for your needs and leads into the mud/laundry room. Just to the left is a half bath for convenience, then plenty of storage for gear, and a washer and dryer. Directly ahead are the steps to the downstairs quarters which opens into a large space with an office desk, a smart TV/Blu Ray Player, and covered patio access. Along the right wall is a beautiful Fort Knox safe, a charming bamboo Sauna, and a closet for additional storage. The work desk looks out to the hills. There are several cozy seating options to enjoy the TV and its Blueray selection. To the left of the TV is a full bathroom with excellent tile work. Further to the left is a queen bed bedroom with covered patio access and plenty of closet space. To the right of the TV is another bedroom with a twin bed to suit your party’s needs. Back upstairs on the main floor and to the right is the gorgeous master bedroom featuring a sumptuous king bed, warm wood tones, and covered deck access with forest views. The master bathroom suite is a whirl of lovely slate and granite throughout, with not only a soaking tub but a walk-in shower as well. Straight ahead from the master bedroom opens to the vaulted ceilings of the dining room. All aspects and accents are rich, dark wood accentuated by the floor to ceiling windows that allow light and stunning views to spill in. Moving towards the kitchen and to the left is the Aspen accented entry which is embellished by a copper-topped dry bar, and off of that is a tucked away designer powder room. To the right is an elegant bar for your enjoyment. The kitchen is an astonishing blend of stainless steel, state of the art appliances, a large granite countertop island with seating, and an excellent view. Further to the left is the spacious living room with covered, wraparound deck access, a gas fireplace, and plentiful seating options. The industrial accented stairs rise to the landing featuring a handsome spiral staircase that leads to a tower with 365-degree views of the Colorado beauty. It is the perfect perch to enjoy watching the world go by or to hammer out some work at the desk. On the landing below, directly ahead, is a full bathroom featuring a blue-tiled walk-in shower. Across the hall is the first bedroom with a king bed, closet space, and mountain views. Further down the hall is a den perfect for children to play. To the left of the den is another full bathroom with beautiful tile work and details, including another spacious shower. At the end of the hallway is the second bedroom, complete with a king bed and the perfect view of V-Rock Mountain. The wrap around deck offers full coverage, excellent views, and a grill for your enjoyment. In addition, there is a covered patio with seating on the first level that leads to a charming gazebo and outdoor firepit. You may not even want to leave the location. Plenty of space throughout the house to sit and relax and the huge porch wraps around half the house and could sit there all day and night with the cool breeze rolling off the mountains. Easy drive into Pagosa for hot springs and if you want to take in the town and tourist spots. Séjour de 6 nuits en septembre 2022 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Brandee F. 5 juill. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Beautiful and spacious home We rented this home for our family to stay in since it was close the the wedding venue our son was getting married at. We chose this home because of the large kitchen with "state of the art appliances and technology" since we would be preparing all of the food for the wedding, only to find out that the refrigerator and freezer was not in working order! I sent a message to the host asking if there was a trick to getting the refrigerator/freezer to work, it would not freeze so there was no ice and did not keep our food cold. She responded and explained that they had brought a refrigerator/freezer for us to use the day before we got there and put it in the garage as the repairman could not fix it for two weeks. We went in the garage to find a dorm size refrigerator with the freezer full of someone else's food. It would have been extremely helpful to have been informed that we would not have a working refrigerator/freezer during our stay since this is something they knew about prior to our arrival. We had to go purchase ice and put it in baggies and use the refrigerator as a big cooler with ice packs to save as much of the food as possible. They did offer us a 10% discount for the inconvenience which helped to cover the cost of some of the food we lost. We read over the binder of rules when we arrived and I emailed the host about the chipped wood on the stairs, broken shades, broken window, etc that were there upon our arrival. We were very transparent about who would be staying, our circumstances during our stay and questions we had. It wasn't until the following day that we realized the refrigerator was broken, I felt it should have been communicated to us right away when I text her about the other things that were already broken, including the front gate which was very hard to open and close manually. When we were leaving, there was a man in a truck sitting in the driveway watching us and didn't say anything so we were in a big hurry to get out and by doing so, we left our sons blankets behind. Once I arrived home I text the host and she was very helpful in allowing us to go back to get them that evening, that was very much appreciated! The home is beautiful, the location is great but communication and honestly would make all the difference! ##### Brandee F. Our van got stuck the first day of checking in and couldn’t make it up the driveway bc of the ice. When I called the owner she said we suppose to have chain on our tires like most cars which was not mentioned in the email. I asked if there was salt that was provided since it was in the welcome booklet, she said most owner doesn’t use it because it ruined their driveway and we should go get cat litter. Other than that the house was beautiful and very cozy for our family. They even provided us with sled boards and you can use ride it down the hills in the backyard. ##### Yen Q. Plenty of room. A little far out if weather comes. Wine bottle opener broke when using it to open a bottle of wine The breaker tripped in the master bedroom A marked drive way would be helpful when unable to view due to weather/snow Freezer to refrigerator not working properly. Ice cream melted while in freezer- iTrip was very understanding and accommodating with this. Recommend one more trash can in garage to put trash in.
