![Near Ouarzazate. On the other side of the High Atlas, about 4-5 hours with the bus is Ouarzazate. The city is situated on a plateau 1200 meters above sea level. Ouarzazate has had a huge increase in population for the last 6-7 years. And it is all due to the film industry. Three big film studios are located here and many well-known movies and TV-series are using the surrounding desert landscape as location. Ouarzazate is the perfect starting point for day trips into the desert or to the Draa Valley, the largest oasis in Morocco.

"L’hôtel est bien situé à environ 300m de la station CTM sur l’avenue principale qui va à la Kasbah de Taourirt et au musée du cinéma. L’hôtel est attenant à une boutique de souvenirs dont la propriétaire est Abla . Une sonnette et Abla vous ouvre. Elle parle très bien français et le petit déjeuner est complet et servi abondamment. "Accueil très agréable grâce à la gentillesse du personnel, notemment Ali. Un petit déjeuner typique, très copieux nous a été servie chaque matin à l'heure de notre choix sur la terrasse de l'hötel. par L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme face aux champs cultivés. Ali nous a proposé un service de netoyage de linge (super, linge propore, bien plié, repassé), de restauration (que nous n'avons pas pris). Hôtel très propre, très calme (nouos étions les seuls clients), très bien decoré. Notre chambre étgait très spacieuse et très jolie avec une superbe terrasse. Nous recommandons vivement.."
