"This hotel is supposed to be renovated. We were not told and until it is rooms should NOT be sold. Our experience was absolutely horrible. Alarms going off, horrible room conditions, dirty and so much more. The Hotel Manager confirmed when we were checking out to give us a complete refund and said "consider it done." Unfortunately, he did not live up to his word and we did not have anything in writing. He further explained that he was only there 4 months and prior to him they did NOT have a manager and the staff was running the hotel. Filed a complaint and will never stay at ANY Holiday Inn & Express. Too bad they did not live up to their word and even admitted how bad our experience was at the hotel."

"Front desk not helpful, discourteous. Possible short staff throughout the hotel. Room wasn’t ready . Housekeeping behind on cleaning rooms. Not enough parking forced to used valet.( although valet attendants very helpful and attentive) resort Accommodations very dated ( I believe they’re planning on renovating) . The pool area and overall grounds were inviting. The shop attendants very pleasant, bartender very good and informative. The coffee shop needs more attendants to be more efficient and timely. Overall , I wouldn’t stay there again."

"I have booked many VRBO properties prior to this stay. So my experiences are based on those expectations. Members of my party only experienced a zVRBO rental for the first time . Based on both of these here are some concerns/ ideas:- All my experiences with rental properties have provided a “notebook” with specific directions for almost everything. How to work tv, remotes etc. Specific directions for the different amenities, trash , pool use. ( no directions for access until I communicated with property mamagers) laundry. (Nothing was provided in the house. Some things were communicated only by email! - Locks/doors very difficult to operate. Codes sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. Instructions said to pull door or press any key in order to work??!!!!- Upon arrival at the precise sign in time Maintenance was still working and house was open. He had no idea that we were set to arrive. Very awkward. - No instructions were given for pool access. I had to get “that” info. - TVs did not work or were not hooked up especially in the bedrooms. Again no instructions for operating. - Lamps in bedrooms missing lightbulbs! Hallway light didn’t work. All in all we had a good stay. Accommodations were good. Bedding was comfortable. The above concerns are meant to help improve for future stays. Thank you. "

"We absolutely loved our time here. The house was perfect for our girls trip and Melinda was so accommodating and helpful for all of our requests. I highly recommend this home!! We loved both the indoor and outdoor space. My only tiny complaint was the pool was quite dirty (tons of bugs/leaves/dirt) which I do understand with an outdoor pool but the pool maintenance were scheduled to come during our stay and it made no difference. But again, this was the most minor complaint. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"My wife and I both love this property, which is nestled in the foothills of the Catalina mountains, has a great view in several directions, has comfortable distance between neighbors, has nice desert landscaping, and is quiet. It has been a great retreat for us. Yes, it's quiet but it's also convenient. It is located within a 10-minute drive of our favorite grocers and bakers and within 15 minutes of most of our favorite restaurants. It is more house than the four of us needed but we did love having the space. Scott and Victoria are excellent landlords, so responsive to what few needs/questions we had. Scott was really informative during a day long internet outage (certainly not his fault!). This was our second stay (both of 6weeks) at this property and we hope to be back again!"
