Looks can be deceiving
The pictures online made this place look very nice, and it would have been, had it been kept up with as far as cleanliness goes. The walls, especially in the bathrooms and bedrooms, were filthy. Marks and stains all over them. It was so off putting. All of the fabric surfaces such as headboard, benches, couch etc. had stains all over them which is also extremely off putting. The area rug needs to be thrown out as it is so dingy and old and the same goes for the carpet in the bedroom and up the stairs. There should not be carpet in a vacation rental, especially if there is a high volume of renters. The entire place needs a fresh coat of paint and some updates as far as furniture goes. The sheets on the beds felt like sandpaper and the beds themselves were so hard and uncomfortable. Time to refresh the towels as well. This place was not what we were expecting at all. It’s owned by a big corporation that clearly doesn’t care about the small details, but could definitely afford to make the necessary updates and upgrades to make this place an enjoyable place to stay. It’s very unfortunate that we paid so much money to stay in a place that did not meet our expectations and actually made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay.
