Beautiful first impressions…however, ended with a partial refund and shortened stay.
Beautiful home and nice property owner. House was very clean. Whoever the cleaning crew is, did a fabulous job!! Beds and towels were fresh, floors and counter surfaces clean and dust free, the bathrooms were very clean. The week started out great. Midweek we returned after a day at Disney to find the water was turned off by the water company. There was no running water for us that night and the next morning which meant no showers, no toilets, etc. It was then nightmarish. We were in no position to go purchase and haul water in order to flush toilets and to go without bathing so with the help of VRBO support and contact with the property owner, we chose to leave the house the immediate morning and go elsewhere ending up in a hotel and paying much more than the cost of this house. The owner did give a refund for the remaining 3 nights from Wednesday (day the water was turned off) to the scheduled check out day. My family was very disappointed that we paid a hefty pool fee at the time of booking for an unusable pool and feel that should have been refunded. There was a pool maintenance person there at the beginning of the week and they swept the bottom of the pool but did nothing to clean the water of all the debris and did not fill the water in the pool to a usable level where it could reach the skimmer for the pump/filter to do its job. It remained dirty and unusable due to the water level.
