"Exceptional property! Stunning facility and top-notch service without feeling awkwardly "over-serviced". The location is remote so it's best to have a car if you're planning on exploring. We really enjoyed the Poolside restaurant for dinner and ate there 3 times during our stay. The food was amazing and the entire dining service crew really made the experience absolutely delightful. The pool area was so relaxing that we did not leave the property every day. "A beautiful countryside setting. Lovely views of Noto and a very tranquil property. Lacked some touches though, which could have made it truly luxurious. Rooms are nice but quite basic. Breakfast is average (cheap juices, imitation corn flakes, etc) and if you're not there by 9.20 the staff stop replenishing items. One guest asked if there was any more ham being brought out at 9.30am and the staff member just shrugged their shoulders. Overall though, a solid choice but not quite luxury. "

"What a special place this is. A step back in time, with modern conveniences! Villa Guilia is absolutely gorgeous! I am so sorry we only stayed here one night. The bed was VERY comfortable and there were extra pillows. Great shower...and a MODERN hairdryer (hard to find in Sicilian hotels). We ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our 2-week trip. The owner could not be nicer! We will definitely return and stay longer."
