Most people in the complex were elderly so taking a family was great because we basically had the pool to ourselves and they're wasn't any partying going on. Just great for a family stay. It was not very clean and it has roaches! Never have I stayed anywhere that I saw a live roach run across the floor! The first thing we noticed unpacking is no trash bag in the trash can but a hair ball in the bottom. Then another huge hair ball in the living room. The utensils canister on the counter were dirty. It just felt yucky. But we put a trash bag in the trash can, luckily I brought my own. Got up the hair on the floor. Later that night we are watching tv and a roach comes running across the floor!! We killed it. And then was worried about the place. Made sure our suitcases were zipped up and went to bed. I couldn’t sleep for worrying a roach could be in the bed. Next morning first thing we are in the kitchen and another roach comes running out. I was done!!! As we are looking around more… there was 6 ant traps on the kitchen counters and 2 plug ins that are ultrasonic pest detection. So obviously they know they have an issue. We packed our bags as fast as we could and had to find a hotel! I sent a message to Vacasa in the midst of all of this. They have responded but I have been told they have contacted their local team and waiting on an update to please be patient. It’s been 3 days and I still get that same response. I had to pay for a hotel and this condo that is not fit to stay in.
