"My room was, perhaps, the worst on the property. Very cramped and with no privacy. The pool was literally 4 steps from the room entrance. Unlike most of the other rooms it had no patio or terrace, as advertised. I kept asking for a change of room but after being sitting along for two days, I had to get out, which was very difficult to manage as it required Expedia to intervene on my behalf. I cannot recommend this property. , nor do I'd I appreciate the dismissive attitude of the manager. There are better, quiter properties right next door. I recommend The New Garden. It has many more rooms to choose from and the management is great, as is the free breakfast! At Casa Valera, juice isn't included with the"

"The room was very clean, the pool was nice, and the staff was wonderful. Our problem was the Prostitution. You can expect to see around 20 single men staying on their own, and bringing Prostitutes in all night and early morning at breakfast. Not a place for families. "

"This resort only the pool club and food is good. Staff is ok. But I made a reservation with a king size bed and got a room with two full size beds when it was only me and my husband. Also the bar is too far from the pool. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. "

"The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, utensils. It was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was great although it didn’t extend outside of our room. "The food was probably the best I've had on vacation. But the amenities listed on the website Vs what was actually there were very different. There was no beach bar or even beach access for that matter. Long walk to a private undeveloped beach which we did enjoy. But did not have any amenities, such as umbrellas. Chairs and definitely no bar as advertised. There was only one bar and restaurant open for the duration of our stay. "

"This is our 2nd time booking at this hotel. Tbh it is such a serene place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms, pool, beach, food EVERYTHING was just right. Our waitress Ruth, was very attentive and was the best “nurse” when my husband got a splinter on the wood deck surrounding the pool. "

"All of the above are true. The staff is amazing, especially Eduardo, the coffee guy. He deserves a raise. My room was clean, modern and bright. Loved the tall ceilings and big balcony. The resort is nice and intimate. I would recommend this resort to my friends."
