The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. "カーナビでスムーズに着くことができず、少し迷いました。案内板や建物にも施設の名前がなかったので、何かしら施設名を表示しておいて欲しかったです。バーベキュー道具で着火剤がなかったので火をつける事ができませんでした。天候も夜に雨が降ったりしたので、結局できず仕舞いでしたが。木炭の他に使い終わりのジッポオイルではなく、新品の着火剤はあるといいです。入り口までの階段は急なのと長いので特に雨の日は注意が必要です。お風呂は広くて石造りなので、とてもいいと思いました。トイレも新しくきれいです。キッチン、コンロも綺麗で使いやすいです。強いて言うならトースターあるといいかもです。寝室からの海の眺めは最高です。幼児以下の家族連れは安全面でかなり気を使いそうですが、小学生以上であれば大丈夫だと思います。"

"The staff were wonderful and so kind and helpful. We got in late after driving from tokyo after a 16 hour flight and we were so happy to walk into the room we had. It was clean, large and comfortable. When we woke up the next morning and opened our curtains we were met with the most gorgeous view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a wide variety of choices. You could enjoy eggs and bacon and pancakes or have a plate of sushi and a bowl of rice. Every breakfast drink you could think of. There was a vending machine on the first floor that had beer and water and juice and laundry facilities as well. Not to mention a spa and onsen. The beach was a short stroll from the back door through a beautiful walkway down the steps. If you find yourself in shimoda this is a wonderful choice for a place to call home."

"Clean and big enought table even a single room. It seems very close to the station but the route to the hotel isn't very easy to walk over especially if you have big luggages. Walk at night is also kinda sketchy. Ofc bumpy road and lack of lighting on the street are the city issue, but the location isn't the best I would say."

"If you want a really roomy experience , stay in the 2-storey maisonette room which is like a big apartment. It’s amazing! So much space and privacy and direct access to the pool and beach from your balcony. The hotel is lovely, breakfast was excellent and the beach is beautiful. Staff spoke a variety of languages which was very helpful. This location is also good for visiting Amagiso outdoor waterfall onsen."
