"町家を改装したゲストハウスということで、太い梁が見えるつくりになっていたり、照明が行灯風になっていたり、室内が和風で統一された空間になっています。古い建物を利用していて、それでいて清潔感があり、木の温もりを感じることができます。 客室について、ドミトリーでも障子で仕切られているため、プライバシーが保てます。 場所について、新潟駅からBRTに乗り、古町バス停から徒歩10分ほどでゲストハウスに着きます。位置がやや分かりにくいので、地図やゲストハウスのウェブサイトを見て確認したほうがいいと思います。周囲の古町はお洒落なカフェ等があり、若い人が街を盛り上げようとしているのが伝わってきました。特にゲストハウスお手製のマップは必見です。"

"The hotel rates were super high during the Nagaoka fireworks festival. And I was lucky to find this hostel for a transit after the fireworks. The place is lovely and everything is clean. Very convenient location which is within 5min walk to the Nagaoka train station A great option if you are traveling alone on a budget."

"This was the only available place to stay so we gave it a try. Temperature in the lobby was 5 celcius and the clerk was wearing a coat. Temperature in the room was 7 celcius. Room heater worked for a bit and then broke in the early morning. Bathroom sink had no hot water. This was one step above camping. We left after one night when we had booked 3 nights."
