"What a hidden gem. Really beautiful property. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a rental car which made this perfect for us. It might be a trickier location to get to if relying on other modes of transport. It's about 15mins drive from Bellagio. The apartment we got was perfect. The views stunning. The sundeck and private beach were super cool. Be warned the beach (like most around the area) was super rocky so some sort of footwear is useful to have. Breakfast was great. We rented a self-drive boat from a company that was about a 10 min walk along the waterfront path. Made for a perfect way to see the lake."

"Beautiful room! Lovely private terrace. Amazing little "beach" to lay out and then jump in the refreshing lake. Breakfast is definitely worth the 15 euro fee. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - good onsite restaurant and close to everything you could possibly want. Pro Tip: Do NOT get this hotel confused with the Belvedere in Bellagio! Pay attention to the town this is in - Argegno! Not Bellagio!"

"Great Host! Great Location! Beautiful Layout! Great Parking Available limited Shopping butGreat friendly locals! The bus leads to everywhere except on Monday. It’s a must drive to location in Nesso as ubers and taxis too expensive and difficult to obtain! Too hot no AC…. Only two appliances can be utilized at once, the dishwasher was full and dirty when we arrived. We tried to start it but unable to. Ambiance is a 10 - even with a lot of spiders and spider webs and beetles coming up from drain. It is still a very much recommended location! Views spectacular and nearby restaurants a plus. Waterfall , bridges, ferry and beaches a bit tough to get to!"

"Charming, nicely decorated, clean. In an authentic, pedestrian neighborhood a short walk to waterfront and restaurants, including our choice, The Belvedere, with its terrace directly on the water. We stayed for one night to visit Villa Carlotta. Carla, our host, went above and beyond. She was very gracious when our plans changed and we were delayed in traffic. She met us at the designated parking space (uphill from the apartment), showed us the way, and welcomed us with a cold beverage and snack. She pointed out sites to visit in Argegno and offered suggestions on activities. She also had breakfast goodies for us for the morning. Lovely stay."

"Amazing hotel in a beautiful little town. Perfect location as just 15/20 mins from bellagio. Staff couldnt be more helpful, views were incredible. Breakfast was lovely. On the bus route from bellagio to como bus stop just outside the hotel. We had a card but didn’t use it at all here. Take the path/road right opposite that takes you up and inbetween the house and you will find many little pathways to avoid walking on the road into the busier side of town. There are also lovey walk along the lake further into town. Ferry 10 mins walk, has a few in the morning that take you to all the major towns. We then ferry hopped between the triangle. Boat rental 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants I would recommend are Aurora, we visited in the daytime. At night we loved The Stone House, amazing fresh fish and beautiful pasta and Osteria II Governo 1801 was absolutely incredible, make sure to book that one in advance to guarantee a table."

"This was the BEST experience at a rental I have ever had! The views are absolutely stunning and the cottage itself is so clean, a perfect size, and has all the amenities you will need. I proposed to my girlfriend here and it was absolutely magical. Lilia even helped me to find a photographer in the area and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We only stayed for a few days, but we WILL be back!!! This was amazing, I cannot rate this place highly enough!"
