"Top class hotel in Kandy. Fantastic room and swimming pool. Close to town. The food is amazing and reasonably priced and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended."
"This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the King Suite, and it was the highlight of our trip. It is definitely worth the slight upcharge! The infinity pool with views was the perfect way to wind down after a day of sightseeing. The staff was beyond friendly and so courteous. We don't typically choose half board, but our trip to Kandy was quick, so it just made sense to stay on site for meals, and I am so glad we did, because the dinner set menu had plenty of options and the portions were large. Plus, the setting is nicer than any restaurant we would have gone to anyway. And we were able to enjoy an after-dinner cocktail and live entertainment for at their rooftop bar. "
"It is a lovely property ans breakfaat spread is quite large. Staff are friendly byt could be better trained on small nuances. The last who checked us in vaguely indicated the direction of the room and we spent 10 minuted walki g up and down searching for it.
When we asked for a la carte food options other than the I.suan restaurant they have, ot took me 20 minutes to get the front desk to admit that a la carte foid could be ordered at tje lounge bar as well. When i we t to the lounge bar it took another 15.minutrs if argument for them to agree that yes they would accept the irdr even when the food menu was clearly lying inthe counter top! With a bit of better training this place would be great"
"Dumbara Park Residence is a wonderful hotel for daily travel in Kandy. It’s very convenient and located right in the centre of the city. The rooms are clean, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is amazing. It’s also just a 10‑minute drive to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa).
My next visit Kandy again, I will definitely choose Dumbara Park Residence.

"This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "
