"Positive: It’s a great place, great staff and it’s great place to stay before visiting Susvelei.they offer many tours and can help you with an itinerary and transportation as a package.
Negative: the wifi didn’t work. Not sure if this is an on going issue or just when we were there. The pool water is extremely cold in the winter. I wish they had a way to warm the water or turn it into a Jacuzzi. I wish dinner included more traditional Namibian food options to try instead of mainly western food."
"This was our first destination on our Namibian adventure and it exceeded our expectations! After a long drive from the airport we were greeted with a cool towel and lemonade at reception. The service was top notch from chexkin to dining to turn down. The luxury tent was so tasteful and the views breathtaking taking. We slept with the canvas down to enjoy the fresh air but if you zip up and use heater they are plenty warm. The sunsets are unreal. The food is excellent - breakfast, dinner, snack. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area looking to explore the area. We were sad to say goodbye. They also have a small craft store of locally made food at reception that were priced as we’ve seen elsewhere in the country making it easy to pick up some treats for family."
"We stayed one night and it was amazing! The property had lots to do (perfect for a quiet day after visiting Sessriem) including a hike up the large boulder mountain and a hike around it through the grasslands. There is a well kept pool area to enjoy as well. The staff was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. The highlight was the dinner outside. Dinner is served in a sandy outdoor dining patio with a central open air bbq where food is simmering in cast iron pots. The sun goes down and you eat under the stars. Food was excellent. More authentic African than some other places that tend to be more European centric. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone enjoying the area."
"The pool and gardens were immaculate and my family room was very clean and comfortable. On arrival the key would not open the door lock. It took 40 slow minutes to have it repaired and then he asked for a tip !!
I wish there was a power point near the bed so I could have my phone charging while in use.
The pool towels all need replacing and the sun lounges were covered in bird poop.
The Sunset tour was fantastic. I felt that we were not given enough time on the full day Soussvlei tour to climb Big Daddy and then walk amongst the trees in Deadvlei. Just walking around the trees was rushed because they were in a hurry to leave for their picnic area. The tour guides were excellent."
