Drives to and from the cabin are lovely - tight, steep, and winding dirt rock roads up and around a small mountain. The privacy is nice, and the view of the neighboring mountains is a beautiful sight to behold. The cabin is cozy and quaint. The layout is nice and practical. The front porch swing is very nice to use. I think extending out the side of the porch to give more foot room while swinging would be a very nice addition. The fire pit out back is nice and useful. It was nice to see the deer out and about in the mornings and evenings. The price was more than fair and the hosts did an excellent job maintaining the home. We came for an event that was just minutes from the cabin. Very secluded, private and just the sounds of nature. We enjoyed coffee on both front and back porch. That view is beautiful during the day, but sunset will put a smile on your face. The family/TV room is very cozy and comfy. And the view- glorious sunset over the mountain. Convenient & peacefully quiet area, just perfect. I will warn that the stairs are steep if you have bad knees or small kiddos. The cabin is very cute: well decorated and any accommodation you could ask for in terms of kitchen needs/towels/etc. Everything was clean. The A/C struggled a bit in the summer heat, but the remoteness of the cabin was excellent and the view was beautiful.
