"I won’t go into great detail, as the endless reviews speak for themselves. I’ll only say that our stay was like visiting a relative. I’ve never stayed in a vacation rental, that was better stocked. Absolutely ANYTHING you might need, seemed to be available, if necessary…. From extra backpacks to bear spray. The only thing I’d suggest is that if you plan to cook in and happen to drive, as we did, I’d bring as much as you could. There are a couple of small grocery stores in town, but the variety is lacking. The larger stores were in Breckenridge and Frisco. Aside from that, the property was great. And though we weren’t lucky to see much wildlife, our 2 doodles loved the long walks, and exploring. Many thanks to Charlie and Monica! They are blessed to have such an amazing slice of heaven."

"This was a great property! High up in the mountains, secluded and quiet. Check in process was a breeze. Communication was excellent from the property manager. "Beautiful, large, wood cabin with very impressive windows and a lovely deck. We really enjoyed our stay despite having a connectivity outage for a couple of days. The only caution is the elevation is over 11,000 ft so it is quite the change for people like us coming from sea level (Florida)."

"The house was beautiful, as was the property! The beds were comfortable and cozy, and the kids loved all the games. The view of the mountains was gorgeous, and we spotted several moose grazing out back! We cooked a number of meals there and appreciated the well equipped kitchen, as well as the grill. Highly recommend!"

"Peaceful Cabin with Stunning Sunrise ViewsWe had an incredible stay at this mountain cabin! The sunrise view over the mountains as the sky lit up was truly unforgettable.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. We especially loved the quiet mornings with coffee on the deck and evenings watching the colors of the sky change.Just a heads-up: the road up to the cabin is a bit bumpy, so take it slow — but it’s 100% worth it once you arrive. We even spotted deer and a fox one day on the road. The peace, privacy, and views are unbeatable.Cate was a responsive host and even gave a hiking suggestion that we needed up doing and it was stunning views of surrounding 14ers. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place. We would not hesitate to book here again. Note there is not a Keurig but there is a drip coffee maker. Also the water pressure was amazing!"

"The property is fantastic and has everything you could need and an extra bonus is that everything is organized. Our teenage sons loved the pool table and we had plenty of room for our family of 5 plus our golden retriever. We had no issue with the altitude and just kept hydrated and took it easy on our first day to get acclimated. We hiked the nearby Pika trail twice and it was easy to access the great fishing in Fairplay, day trip to Breckenridge, the Royal Gorge, and white water rafting. The area is gorgeous and while the unpaved road adds time to and from, we had no issues with our GMC Acadia and Kia Telluride. I usually took the County Road 14 route as that seemed the quickest and we were able to see moose in the meadow. Overall, the road was a small price to pay for the solitude and tranquility of the area. In terms of amenities, the washer/dryer was handy and the dishwasher and beverage fridge/wine cooler were great to have. The Weber grill fired up quickly and was easy to use and had plenty of size with 5 burners and a side burner. Check in and out was super easy and we had no issues throughout the stay. I would highly recommend this property!"
