"The apartment is relatively fresh and clean, but old. The street is sketchy with lots of potholes leading to it. The parking was not ideal - part of the road was flooded so it was impossible to park without blocking someone else’s car. There is no decent view from the apartment. Would not be eager to come back."

"Sharon and her husband were great hosts!! The studio is exactly as shown in the pictures is decorated so lovely! A nice quiet place to get away and spend the weekend. Mystic is less than a 5 min drive, very close to the aquarium and museum. Will definitely be coming back!"

"This property sits in a quiet, safe neighborhood and an older home that seems to be a renovated 2nd floor/flat. It is extremely clean!! Everything was in working order. Beds were extremely comfortable. TV's were updated (one in the living, one in one of the bedrooms (not the master)). Even though one full bathroom, it is large and had enough space to spread out. The stacked washer and dryer are full size and up to date. Kitchen appliance all up to date. Reasonable amount of dishes for our group...

"Loved this cozy little 2 BR apartment. The picture led me to believe our rental was a house, but it wasn’t. Though we were comfortable, climbing stairs to this garage apartment was difficult. We hope to return, but will probably stay in a house in the Newport area."

"The Nest is located in a lovely part of Charlestown and has easy access to many of the popular sites (Narragansett, Newport, Kingston, Mystic CT). Our hosts, Melissa and Eric, were welcoming, checking in with us periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, welcoming, and a restorative place. There was not a single amenty that wasn’t intentionally considered in advance. The only word that comes to mind that could capture our experience at the Nest is magical....

"Open space outdoors for children. Adults/those not needing to go to bed super early may enjoy a spot closer to the water and nightlife. Location is far enough back from the road to be safe for all ages, but off a busy road near a school and park- feels like a suburban neighborhood rather than a beach vacation spot. Clean, well appointed."

"Stayed with my partner for our anniversary long weekend. Charming house with amazing views - we really appreciated the screened-in deck so we could spend time outaide without worry about bugs. The king sized bed in the loft was incredibly comfortable! Very easy to make ourselves feel at home."
