« Overall a very pleasant stay. It’s an unbeatable location to downtown and to beaches. The host is very responsive and helpful to answer all questions. It’s very clean. There were plenty of places to hang out in the living room. We loved the fridge layout and the kitchen. Cant complain since it was national day holiday though the price was high. Some places could be improved: the window AC unit which could disturb the sleep and not effective in bedrooms. We wondered if the central AC was working...

« What a delight to find this gem of a property. The lawn is spacious the old trees are shady and the flower beds are well taken care of by the host. The apartment is comfy and close to historic Four Corners and Fogland Beach. The trails to the water’s edge and also an historic old mill site and bridge are within walking distance and made for enjoyable walking. I have family nearby and plan to return when I visit. »

« The place was clean and a nice apartment. We stayed only 1 night. Yes, there is traffic and you will hear it all night long, but it is what it is (if owner lists this, would you rent it?)
The beds, for us, were so uncomfortable...too soft. But that's a personal preference. The ceiling fan made an intermittent noise that kept waking me.
The towels were rough and felt like they were washed without softener. As others noted, there weren't enough towels and wash cloths for the number of guests...

« Perfect location in Newport with sufficient parking. Description didn’t make it clear the split of rooms and bathrooms but it worked out. Listing also listed laundry, which we were counting on as this was our last stop of a two week trip, but did not exist - so that disappointing. As was no coffee in the glass coffee jar. But rooms were comfortable, communication was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. »

« The price was higher because of the 4th of July and it was the 250th anniversary- plus Bristol has the longest continuous celebration in the country. The kitchen is well stocked with a good selection of cook wear, coffee pots, toaster, microwave, etc. When we ran out of paper products, Karen resupplied us quickly. Karen answered my questions in a timely manner. »
