Benefiting from stunning interiors throughout, a private patio area and on-street parking nearby, you will be truly spoilt in this spacious home from home. The Space: Roseberry Topping Townhouse is a truly special stay in the village of Great Ayton. Offering an open plan living, kitchen and dining room, three bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a private patio area, you’ll be treated to a truly spectacular holiday home with plenty of perks. On the first floor, you’ll find the first bedroom, open plan kitchen, living and dining area plus the family bathroom. Modern and spacious, the bathroom benefits from a freestanding bathtub with handheld shower, as well as a WC and basin. With a wall-mounted flat screen TV and modern furnishings, the first-floor bedroom is cosy and relaxing. A double bed, flat screen TV and a wardrobe complete the room. Head to the living area and you’ll find a homely space. Benefiting from large double glass doors which flood the room with light, this room is bright and welcoming. The perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring North Yorkshire’s countryside and coastline, you can relax on the large sofa and turn on the TV to enjoy Freeview. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen in Roseberry Topping Townhouse has everything you could need to prepare home cooked meals. Ultra stylish, the kitchen features black cabinets and crisp white walls. Modern appliances and amenities include an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Also sharing this space is the dining area which features a light wood dining table and six comfy chairs. Take the stairs again to the second floor and you’ll find the master bedroom which benefits from a super-king size bed, an ensuite bathroom and ample storage space. Ideal for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with two singles. Outside at the entrance door, you’ll find a small patio area with outdoor furniture where you can relax outside in the sunshine during your stay. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Roseberry Topping Townhouse are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in. Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Roseberry Topping Townhouse per reservation. The Neighborhood: The pretty village of Great Ayton is perched on the banks of the River Leven. The village has ancient origins, with several Neolithic sites within the parish boundary. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book. In former times, the village’s industries included linen making, tanning, brewing and mining. Nowadays, the village is well known for its two picturesque village greens, Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum and proximity to the intriguing volcano-esque Roseberry Topping mountain. The surrounds are popular with walkers, mountain bikers, runners and fishers. Amateur photographers and artists of all skill levels will find impressive backdrops to capture. Getting Around: Great Ayton railway station has fantastic links to towns and cities across North Yorkshire and the North East with direct routes available to Middlesbrough, Whitby, Thornaby-on-Tees, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Seaham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Prudhoe, Hexham and Carlisle. However, there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. Nor any dishwasher tablets or a liner in the kitchen bin. Also, the bathroom bins had not been emptied! The bed in the double room had been pushed against the wall so needed repositioning so we were able to get out on both sides. When doing this we found dirty tissues and disgusting fluff and cobweb balls along the skirting and carpets etc. We did actually hoover this clean at 9pm that evening. ##### Dawn C. The house is updated and spacious. The beds were comfy too - which to me is very important. We didn’t cook, we ate out, but the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glass, pans etc. Only thing we missed was a coffee machine as you can’t get a take out coffee before 9am.
