Beautiful and minimal Loft, well ubicated in Mérida Yucatán

My accommodation is ideal for couples, adventurers and families (with children). The Loft, is located in the upper part of a house, there are two, (A and B), bot. The loft is located in a small town in the northern part of the city, called Cholul. A clean, safe, friendly town, with a nice church and of course with all the necessary basic services (Self-service, pharmacy, convenience, etc.) The decoration is a minimalist but cozy decoration, with some very special pieces by local artists , which we always recommend to the guests to enjoy them with all the care of the world. The loft has a nice pool, spacious enough for the enjoyment of guests, and so, cool off from the heat of this area of ​​Mexico. There is a private parking with its respective control, to enter and leave the loft at ease, in case of renting a car. The loft also have fans and air conditioning for a comfortable stay.

I love receiving guests, I love knowing them personally, knowing their intentions during their stay, to help them and recommend the best options in Merida. I am a photographer taisonado, so I know very well Merida and Yucatan, its places, restaurants, cenotes, pyramids, beaches, culture and much more. Even if it is necessary and require some special trip, I could get involved with them in their adventure.

Getting around
Merida and Yucatan is very large, and its main attractions are in nature, on the outskirts of the city, so having a car is highly recommended, since the distances are very long. For the city center, it is very convenient to arrive from any point of the city, whether you have a car or not, it is not a problem.

Airport: Rejon: 28.0 mi
Ferry: Progreso: 24.9 mi
FROM THE AIRPORT: there are 2 recommended options, one is with the airport taxis, which leave 24 hours a day and the cost is about $ 400 pesos, which is $ 20 dollars and the other via UBER, which is cheaper, although generally the airport authorities do not allow in rush hours, the entrance of the units. Also available are different car rental houses at the airport. FROM THE CENTER OF THE CITY: there are taxis (we recommend the so-called taxis of the site), UBER, it works perfectly (it is the recommendation, they are safer and cheaper) and of course, buses leave every 30 minutes to the town of Cholul

Workers there most of our time there. Pool was not a pool but a tank basically. Bottom was dirty snd needed cleaning. Hard to use it when workers were right there. Bathroom light never worked. I guess minimal is s good description. Owner was nice and helpful upon original meeting. Did address tv issue quickly.

It's better in Cholul!

My husband and I always stayed in properties closer to Centro in Merida. Someone had advised us to look in the northern part of the city. We found this listing and are we ever so glad that we did. The loft apartment was perfect in every way. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's in the middle of a very friendly neighbourhood. There are food shops and services nearby. But I need to mention that the real treat is Gus. He was very helpful and informative. There were a couple of maintenance issues that came up and Gus was very responsive to our questions. We are hoping to stay here again.

The problems we had with this property was that is wasn’t as clean as we would of liked. The outside grounds weren’t kept up. The pool didn’t have any water in it and the washer didn’t work. We bought a frying pan because the ones in the room are old and used up. There wasn’t enough utensils and a plate was broken and glued together. The owners were always available and cared about us. We were disappointed in the property.

Very wondeful time

the apartment was clean and quiet. the owner always at service..and helpfull..really a confortable plays to stay close to a mall and easy accses to main roads. gustavo vas a dandy goood place and economic.
