"The hotel was very clean and has an old world charm to it. My room was beautiful, well equipped, and had a cute balcony. Staff was friendly, helpful and kind. It was low season when I visited San Cristobal so the hotel was quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and the water temperature (hot) and strong water pressure was greatly appreciated."

"Todo muy bien, pero, hace falta presion de agua, dejan muy limitado el papel de baño, jabon y shampoo (hay que estar solicitandolo). El servicio de limpieza de cuarto solo es hasta las 11am, por lo que si uno sale despues ya mo lo hacen. Seris mucho mejor si tuviera tele y servicio de estacionamientos."

"Staff, rooms, basics were all v good to excellent. There is an issue however with how Expedia describes room options. We were able to say in our reservation that we wanted two doubles and a single bed in our triple room. When we arrived, they put us in a room with two single beds. Discussion revealed that a room with two doubles and a single was NOT POSSIBLE, and staff indicated they were not agreeing with Expedia’s descriptions that suggested these options. "

"It is a quaint historical, three storey hacienda that could do with an upgrade. Very limited electrical outlets in the rooms and bedding is quite worn. Location is very good with walking distance to Zocalo, Cathedral,Templo de Santo Domingo and the three vehicle free walking streets of restaurants, shops, bars and bakeries. Be sure to save a lot of time to peruse the artisans markets (100's) around the Templo de Santo Domingo."

"We had room number eight, an upstairs suite that includes a king size bed, a lounge chair and a small table with two chairs. The room has a charming balcony that overlooks a Koi pond. The bathroom has both a shower and a copper bathtub. The main room also includes a small coffee bar area with sink, for preparing drinks and snacks. A small refrigerator is installed underneath. The complementary breakfast has a lot of variety, including omelettes, chilaquiles, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola as well as local specialties. We found all the staff to be helpful and proactive, but the real standout was a woman named Karina, who helped us out on many occasions. We had such a nice time we plan to return next year!"
