« It was clean. It had a beautiful drive to it and it was tucked up in the woods. It would be nice if there was curtains, but that is OK. You are surrounded by trees. Enjoyed our visit. Has a very cute town nearby. Wasn’t in the house very much was enjoying all the scenery. »

« Our stay at Bala’s home was wonderful. The location right on the river is perfect for a relaxing getaway. A very close drive to the National Park and Front Royal. The home is updated nicely and amenities are well stocked, above average kitchen supplies from the typical vacation rental. Do note that there are no tvs in the bedrooms which we appreciated but some may not. Overall it was great. »

« I've stayed at quite a few rentals and hotels, and this is my favorite. It's definitely a bit off the grid, which makes it all the more private and charming. The views are breathtaking, and the layout of the house is perfect for a family...but it'd be lovely for a couple's or solo retreat, too! Our visit included three adults and two kids (10 and 12), but I appreciate that there are baby gates, a pack n play, and a high chair for guests with younger children. My kiddos especially loved the air...

« We stayed at the Blue Pearl during a long weekend trip with our family of four and our dog. The house and property are beautiful! We had all the amenities we needed during our stay, and loved the fenced in backyard and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal-walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short 5 minute drive to Luray Caverns. We enjoyed pizza from the Italian restaurant around the corner on our first night. « We had a marvelous friends weekend at Lunar Lookout! The house and property were amazingly well appointed. It was perfect for a friends weekend relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive to all our questions. All in all a 10 out of 10! »

« Lovely property out in the middle of nowhere and we didn’t see a single person during our stay! (We did, however, meet a very friendly dog during an evening stroll!) The property was very clean and well stocked. Looks just as nice as the pictures! I would advise bringing bottled water as what comes out of the tap is not easily drinkable. « Recently stayed 3 nights here with our family of 5 (kids aged 14, 11, 8). Perfect size, great location. We were able to explore Shenandoah and Luray Caverns easily from this location. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean. Reported an issue with the washing machine to management. We weren’t there long enough for it to be resolved while we were there, but they were very receptive to the feedback and I suspect it will be addressed. « We had a great stay- the air conditioning works great, and the property is lovely! There was plenty for our teens to do, and even a high chair to use with our toddler!! We emailed a question to the owner and it was answered promptly. We would definitely consider staying here again! »
