« Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management. The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house. You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable. »

« I could not be more happy with the accommodations. Beautiful quiet place to stay with being close enough to the trial heads to enjoy our time on the trails. I highly recommend and very much looking forward to coming back! »

« The breakfast was fantastic! Especially loved the apple cinnamon waffles! The stay all great except the really strong musty smell. I know it has been remodeled and looks great, but that smell is pretty strong in the halls and rooms. We've stayed here several times. And while it might havr had a smell of an older hotel, it was never really unpleasant. This time it was. We come through from time to time, and will likely stay again, but hopefully they can figure out the source of the musty odor! »

We did a lot of sightseeing, so we didn't get a chance to fish the lake that's well within walking distance, but heard it is a great fishing lake. Kitchen was very well stocked, and there were plenty of blankets and towels. Couldn't...
