"My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in Napa Valley California. The Rancho Caymus Inn is conveniently located to many great towns, restaurants and vineyards. The inn itself is well maintained and has a homey personal feeling. The rooms are all a good size and the em entities (pool, free breakfast, and wine samplings) are wonderful. There are many outdoor places to sit and relax on the grounds as well. The outdoor area has a fireplace and many lights. While there are only 2 floors, there are no elevators. Our bags were carried for us by a staff person who was very helpful. The only negative I can mention is the wasps in the pool area. The oversize planters have standing water from over watering which attracts the wasps. Otherwise, we had an outstanding time. If you visit Napa, stay at the Rancho Caymus Inn."

"The Sandman was by far the best , most comfortable and best value of any motel we've stayed. They don't try to make higher profits by cutting out amenities you usually expect from a motel, like soap, coffee and one motel on Santa Rosa Avenue even had the heater shut off in the middle of the night and just shirked it off when I complained the next day. My wife, son and I had to shiver beneath blankets. It was too wet and cold to complain at the time but when they checked it the next day the manager said he would have to call a repair company. A little sympathy and price adjustment should have been in order."

"The property itself is in Santa Rosa, away from the real wine country. There is a $24 parking fee, not advertised ahead. Next to the freeway and the room Was noisy. Staff just decided not to do the room one day and when called we’re not even apologetic. Overall, not worth the money."

"The elevator made a terrible sound -it even frightened my dog when she heard it the first time and when we needed to use it again she refused to go inside the elevator . I reported it and stated maintenance needs to check it out . Didn’t have many room soaps , etc. Luckly I bring my own but it was not very welcoming and they skimp on the towels -worn thin. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows ."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We came for a music festival so we did not use a lot of the amenities on the property. I would love to come back for a couple’s trip. I think this would be a great place for a honeymoon or special getaway. Pros: bed was very comfortable, staff is friendly, indoor pool & hot tub, easy parking right outside your unit, room was spacious & had a fridge & microwave Cons: our door was a little bit tricky to figure out if it was locked or unlocked from inside, the room key is an actual keychain with a key, which is not a big deal, but you have to carry that around everywhere you go"
