« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic home! It was really cool to stay in a home that has so much history. Because this is an old home, and out in the country, this home is clean, but due to the age of the cabinets and windows and such, it wasn't as clean as a five star resort in some big city - but it certainly felt like home! Although there is no TV and wifi is not strong in all areas of the house, we had a great time playing cards together and laughing together. Our stay was short...

« This property is as described. It is a 1950's era old farmhouse that borders the national forest. What does it have plenty of: character, solitude, and peace and quiet. It truly is in the middle of nowhere and that is a blessing. What it doesn't have: internet or good cell service. That also isn't necessarily a bad thing. It does have basic satellite TV service and a DVD player. We were well pleased with the stay! »

« In all fairness it was the day after hurricane Isaias went by, but pretty sure these problems weren't related to that. The key making device was not working, so the clerk unlocked the door of our room. When I walked in it was meat locker cold and the AC was on high. The adjustment device on the heater by the window was not connected and the top of it was badly bent up. The wall device worked, but the display was only half visible, but pretty sure it was reading 50°. Thr heat worked, and I got...
