Bright and spacious, this beautiful home at Wapato Point is just the place to bring the whole family for a trip to the beautiful town of Manson! With the lake nearby, this four-star resort boasts tennis courts, a putt-putt course, a sandy beach, dock facilities, indoor and outdoor pools (the Halmalka pool is directly across from your townhouse), and a private hot tub, so everyone will be able to spend their vacation days in their own way! When the group returns from a day on the water, the chef of the group can hop into the full kitchen equipped with spacious countertops and bar seating and whip up a tasty meal for all to enjoy. During warmer months of the year, step out to the covered deck area and fire up the gas grill for a cookout in the summer breeze! The adults can reminisce at the outdoor dining area while the kids head inside and watch a favorite show on the flatscreen TV nearby!

Sitting just a short walk from the shore of Lake Chelan, this home is in a great location to spend long days on the water paddleboarding, boating, or swimming. Pack the kids and gear into the wagon for trips to the beach and explore the 116 acres of fun that Wapato Point has to offer! When everyone wants a break from the lake, grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants nearby like Wapato Point Cellars Winemakers Grill, Sunset Bar and Grill, or Green Dot Sub Shop. For a bit of fun for the adults in the group, a plethora of wineries are within a few miles of your front door, so take a day to go wine tasting! For a change of scenery, head eight miles into Chelan where you will find fun for all ages including Slidewaters water park for the little ones!

Disappointing Stay, VRBO and Vacasa Unresponsive

(I asked Google Gemini to write this review... pasting only our multiple questions and requests for help though VRBO's messaging platform. This seems fairly accurate, although it removes the frustration felt by poor responsiveness) Overall Impression: This vacation house stay with Vacasa unfortunately fell short of expectations. While the location might have been desirable (depending on your preference), numerous issues significantly impacted the enjoyment of the stay. Specific Issues: Missing Propane: The grill was unusable due to an empty propane tank. It took several days and multiple contacts with Vacasa to get a replacement delivered. Unusable Appliances: The oven was dirty and filled the condo with smoke when used. Additionally, a previous review mentioned the same issue, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance. Electrical Issues: There was a problem with the electrical system, rendering some appliances unusable. Lighting Problems: Two bedrooms lacked functional lighting. Communication with Vacasa: Communication with Vacasa was slow and required persistence. It took several emails and days to get some issues addressed. Positive Aspects: Good location Recommendation: It's difficult to recommend this specific property due to the encountered issues. Consider other options and thoroughly research the property and management company before booking.

Paradise in Wapato Point!

When we walked in everything was more beautiful than the pictures! Every room gorgeous and well fitted! Kitchen glorious and view amazing! Honestly it felt like a five star hotel but cozy! We went for long walks along the orchard and beach, discovered games and pool toys in the garage and the hot tub was heavenly. Everything was sparkling clean. You truly made our Christmas holiday special! Grateful!

Great house. Management not great.

The house is great. The floor was pretty dirty when we arrived. Tried multiple times to get a hold of management to get it addressed and we got the run around multiple times. Never resolved. No one seemed to care.

1. The dishwasher is broken (these things happen) and there is no drying rack for hand-washed dishes — which shouldn't happen. 2. My room was choked with pillows, so many that by the time I got them off the bed there was not enough room for my stuff and little room for moving around.

Could be alot better wanted to give it 2.5 stars

I hate to be *that* person but I want to share honestly about these accommodations. The pros: the condo is in a great location ( for us) super convenient pool access, easy walk to the store and lake. Very convenient cart in the garage to haul stuff to the lake and the dock. There were also alot of fun toys that my grand daughter (age 4) really appreciated! the hot tub was nice, after it had been cleaned ( like the 3rd day). The decor was very cute in the home, and it was nicely appointed with dishes and necessities, except for paper towels :( The cons: The oven was filthy! We turned it on and the place filled with smoke. No exhaust fan above the stove, unfortunate because on of my daughters is pregnant and very sensitive to smells, so we had to wrangle a few fans up to coax the smoke out of the place. I had to spend two hours the next day cleaning the oven and being there to make sure the smoke alarm didn't go off. It was obvious from the outside of the oven that it was dirty. While hooking up the fans I discovered many outlets that did not work. The next con is that the plumbing makes a weird loud rumbling/vibrating sound at random times. Dishwasher isn't screwed in and nearly tips out every time you open it up- randomly starts whenever the door is closed. Some of the screens are missing/broken on the doors, so the entire time I was rolling up a paper and swatting flies ( should supply a fly swatter if not going to fix screens) There was a nail that was sticking up by the entry stairs and it had been covered up by a bandaid- gross! We have stayed at WP several times over the years, and this was by far the most negative experience as far as our accommodations, and the most expensive. When I called to inform the Vacasa people I was hoping to get some sort of adjustment or credit, but none was given . If I wanted to be cleaning the oven I would have stayed home. It will make me think twice before utilizing their services in the future. Cute place that could use MUCH more attention with maintenance issues

Birthday Weekend with the Girls!

We stay at Wapato Point all the time and this home was especially cute and unique! Comfortable furniture (although I heard that the bunk room beds were not amazing to sleep on)... minor issue. Otherwise, it was so perfect for our group of girlfriends! I'd definitely reserve this home again.

Had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay with our three kids for spring break. There was a mix up with checking in, but it was quickly resolved. The house was spacious and clean and close to the lake. Would like to return in the summer when it’s warmer.

Overall Amazing Stay

This place over exceeded my expectations. Staying there for Christmas we weren’t sure if there was going to be a tree, so we packed one, however the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays and even had a beautiful tree set up. Such a nice surprise . Positively I wish I would have known all that was available in the kitchen. I ended up bringing my own K-cup machine, houser this house one 1, not to mention a Nespresso machine. So impressed with everything that was available. Cons: the HDMI cable was malfunctioning in the living room. Thankfully I’m a dance teacher and usually have adapters with me at all times. The dryer took a while to dry clothes, however having the option to use it was a blessing. We did have to be mindful of hot water, if more than one person needed a shower but that’s usually the case in most homes. More pros: We loved being able to park two vehicles in the garage. We felt very safe, yet secluded amongst the other homes. We will definitely book this location again. Loved the wapato point community. They had outdoor ice skating available, putt putt and an indoor pool still open for its visitors considering the COVID-19 current restrictions. We appreciated that so much. It completely made our trip the most special. We can’t wait to return for a summer trip and enjoy the water and all lake chelan has to offer.
