Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's.
Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend.
A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy. »

« Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks. »

« Adorable cabin that is both rustic and chic. It had all we needed and more. Very secluded and serene. The hammock and fishing ponds were heavenly and the hot tub was clean and comfortable. The hiking trails at Ferne Clyffe State park were amazing and unique, and the Blue Sky Winery was worth a stop. The Giant City Lodge was rustic and historic, great dining experience.
