« We spent five wonderful nights at the Frederick Stearns Historic Inn. The owner and host, Rachel Mitchell, was largely responsible, first in saving and renovating this 124 year old mansion and treating us like family. We arrived two hours early to find no electricity in the house or the neighborhood due to a tornado the previous day. Rachel invited us in and offered wine. « My stay at ALEO was incredible. It was my second visit to Detroit; my first time was at the Godfrey, a new build. This time, I opted for something cozier, and it truly felt like a home away from home. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed. « Our stay at the Cochrane House was great. The staff was friendly and super helpful. We attended a concert at the Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit, and the Cochrane House was only a block away from the venue making it just a short walk. They also have their own parking lot. »
