This place had it all, all the things you would find in the kitchen including spices, coffee, ample space for entertaining. "From start to finish, Cheri made this an easy process. She is very helpful and responds quickly. What you see is what you get. The listing is 100% accurate. The cottage is quaint and cozy. Cheri is very organized and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed catching crabs, fishing from the beach, kayaking and mastering the paddle board. We took a charter out on the Chesapeake bay to catch Spanish Mackerel. The neighbor to the left was outside once and was very friendly. Otherwise, we really didn't see many people. There are stores and quaint restaurants near by. I could not have been happier. If you are looking for a place to relax, this cottage is for you. "

"We had a great stay. Easy check in process. Home was clean and well equipped. We loved using the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Cape Charles has a great beach with easy parking, warm water, and minimal waves. Our dog had a great time playing in the water in the mornings. "

"Great little hotel for travelers going to Virginia Beach. Located right off the main highway. Very easy to get to. Surprisingly quiet with the highway nearby. Great staff as well. "

"Bay Cottage was charming, comfortable and the location was just perfect. We could walk to the beach in less than a minute. It is well stocked and beds were very comfortable. We loved the layout and the boys loved all the games. We especially enjoyed the big screened in porch in the evening and the outdoor shower in the back for getting all the sand off. Our hosts were wonderful and communicated with us from the time we booked and even called once we got settled to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend Bay Cottage!"

"One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. It was so well stocked with everything. The kitchen cabinets were labeled and contained everything you could possibly need. The house was clean and in excellent condition. We loved having a beach area that was so private. There were nine adults, three small children and two babies in our group and there was plenty of room in the house for all of us. I would highly recommend this property."

"Rockin rando was a awesome hoast very accommodating and was always available to answer any questions we had. The property was beautiful and the house was very cozy if you like fishing and crabbing this is your spot you will catch dinner. My little family had a awesome time and are booking again next summer.
